Job Description
Role
As an Accountant 3, Corporate Accounting, you will deliver end-to-end accounting services for a portfolio of clients across varying levels of complexity. You will prepare financial statements and related accounting deliverables while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. You will manage complex accounting processes and resolve technical accounting matters with minimal supervision. You will leverage your technical expertise to produce high-quality financial reports and support the delivery of exceptional client service. You will also identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational excellence across the function.
What you'll do
- You'll monitor and manage assigned mailboxes, coordinate accounting activities, and ensure timely completion of client deliverables and regulatory filing requirements.
- You'll post journal entries, perform bookkeeping and reconciliations, and prepare working schedules, working papers, periodic accounts, and financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- You'll independently compute tax and VAT obligations, respond to audit queries, and liaise directly with auditors to support audit and compliance requirements.
- You'll conduct thorough self-reviews, address reviewer feedback promptly, complete required checklists, and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality across all deliverables.
- You'll resolve moderately complex accounting queries, collaborate with and support team members, escalate issues when necessary, and contribute to the effective delivery of business and client service objectives.

Qualifications
About you
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or have completed ACCA Level 2 or ACA, with at least 4 years of experience in Corporate Accounting.
- You demonstrate advanced technical expertise in accounting standards and financial reporting, with strong proficiency in preparing working papers, periodic accounts, and financial statements.
- You independently manage audit queries and maintain effective relationships with auditors, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills, enabling you to manage complex deliverables and meet deadlines effectively.
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, continuous learning, process improvement, and delivering exceptional results.
