Be the front-line owner of how Asset & Wealth Management teams onboard, get access, and certify use of governed data products across the Asset & Wealth Management Data Mesh ecosystem (including Galaxy)—building a scalable, control-ready operating model in ServiceNow.
As a Data Mesh Enablement & Onboarding Product Manager within Asset & Wealth Management Data organization, you will own and run the operating model for onboarding, access, and certification across the Asset & Wealth Management Data Mesh ecosystem (including Galaxy). You will be the front-line “go-to” for onboarding guidance, entitlement approvals, and user support—ensuring controlled, repeatable, and scalable processes that enable teams to discover, request, and use governed data products effectively. The ideal candidate has strong data acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a process-oriented mindset with experience operating through ServiceNow and certification-based controls.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary onboarding lead for Asset & Wealth Management Data Mesh / Galaxy, providing clear guidance on onboarding steps, prerequisites, and expected timelines
- Own the intake and triage process for data inquiries, managing and delegating ServiceNow tickets related to data questions, access requests, and onboarding support
- Facilitate the bi-annual Sandbox Certification process, including planning the cycle, coordinating stakeholders, tracking completions, and ensuring exceptions are minimized and documented
- Approve the SmartApproval queue for SID/FID onboarding, ensuring requests meet governance and entitlement requirements prior to activation
- Review and govern BGO roles managed in WEAVE, including certification workflows and maintaining/validating associated use cases for onboarded FIDs
- Provide high-confidence Q&A support to stakeholders on what data is available on the Asset & Wealth Management Data Mesh, how it should be used, and how to resolve common onboarding/access blockers
- Drive operational maturity by standardizing playbooks, defining SLAs, improving self-service pathways, and developing recurring metrics and reporting for leadership
- Partner with control, governance, and platform stakeholders to ensure onboarding and certification processes remain audit-ready and aligned with firm standards
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7 yrs of Vice President level experience in product management, platform operations, data operations, or enablement roles (or equivalent scope/ownership)
- Strong data acumen: ability to understand data products, lineage/definitions at a practical level, and translate stakeholder questions into actionable guidance
- Experience running intake, triage, and workflow management using tools such as ServiceNow (or comparable enterprise workflow tooling)
- Demonstrated ability to manage certification-based processes (e.g., periodic access reviews, controls attestations, environment certification) with multiple stakeholders
- Strong operational rigor: clear documentation, repeatable processes, exception handling, and metrics-driven improvement
- Excellent communication skills—able to support end users, influence partner teams, and represent the process with senior stakeholders
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with data mesh concepts and operating models (domain-owned data products, governed access, enablement patterns)
- Experience with entitlement/access approval queues and role-based access governance
- Experience working in Asset & Wealth Management data, analytics, or platform enablement contexts
- Comfort working across multiple internal systems (e.g., onboarding tooling, certification workflows, entitlement platforms) and translating them into an end-to-end user experience
