Your Role:

  • Design and build business software applications for various sub-functions, including treasury, trade matching and settlement, portfolio accounting, and fund performance.
  • Provide key input into designing the future state of the technology stack for the aforementioned functions.
  • Build web applications with C# and JavaScript.
  • Develop business applications using Angular or other web frameworks.
  • Code and debug to find and fix errors or bugs in the source code of software using analytical skills.
  • Utilize source/version control systems including Git for efficient source code management.
  • Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud providers to build, deploy, and manage business applications and processes for reliable, scalable cloud computing services.
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker to build, share, and run container applications.
  • Create and manipulate database using Structured Query Language (SQL) and No-SQL Databases.
  • Develop communication models, including messaging and publish-subscribe platforms, which allow applications to communicate asynchronously.
  • Utilize testing frameworks including NUnit for the development and execution of tests with the .NET language. Provide application support for business teams.
  • Answer business user questions about applications and data.
  • Enhance, maintain, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Redesign and rebuild legacy applications to bring them up to date with the current technology.
  • Test applications, including creating automated test cases.
  • Follow company best practices for application development, testing, and deployment.
  • Peer-review application code.
  • Telecommuting permitted two days per week.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience with designing and building business web applications alongside key stakeholders utilizing C# and JavaScript; using Angular or ASP.NET Core to redesign and rebuild legacy applications to bring them up to date with the current technology; and, Source / Version control systems including Git to test applications, including creating automated test cases.

 

The salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
