Associate Consultant – Risk Analytics
Key Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end credit risk model lifecycle activities including model development, implementation, monitoring, recalibration, and governance. Develop and enhance credit risk models such as PD, LGD, EAD, Stress Testing, CECL, CCAR, and Economic Capital models. Perform data analysis, segmentation, feature engineering, statistical testing, and model performance evaluation. Execute ongoing model monitoring, back testing, benchmarking, stability analysis, and performance assessments. Identify model weaknesses, emerging risks, and recommend model improvements or recalibration actions. Support model implementation, UAT, production testing, and validation of model outputs against approved methodologies. Prepare and maintain model documentation, monitoring reports, governance materials, and regulatory submissions. Ensure compliance with internal Model Risk Management standards and regulatory expectations. Partner with Model Validation, Technology, Business, Audit, and Risk Management teams throughout the model lifecycle. Present analytical findings and model performance results to management committees and senior stakeholders. Act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior team members on credit risk modeling and governance practices. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices across model development and monitoring activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Credit Risk Modeling, Model Validation, Monitoring, or Quantitative Risk Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Basel, CECL, CCAR, Model risk management, and banking risk frameworks preferred.
- Proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, and Advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
