Skills & Competencies

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), regulatory functions, or similar roles, gained within banks or vendors supporting AFC/ KYC/AML/compliance domains.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, including AML and fraud prevention frameworks, and familiarity with emerging regional market trends. Compliance Technology platform experience is highly preferable.
  • Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of product development lifecycles, preferable related to compliance solutions. Knowledge of the global regulatory environment and a strong understanding of expectations of regulators, especially developments in KYC is helpful.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments, while also operating independently as a self-starter. Adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in prioritization and time management. 
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage organizational ambiguity with differing stakeholder views and ability to collaborate, drive motivation across diverse team members and manage difficult conversations
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications in compliance, AML, or financial services (e.g., CAMS) are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities 

Regional Business Development and Growth 

  • Build strategic relationships and alliances with stakeholders – APAC sales leadership team, regional service team and global strategy team to define the market strategy, set key focuses for the short/medium term and achieve common goals.  
  • Manage critical internal and external stakeholders requirements, priorities and changes as required.  
  • Market feedback for product development: translate regional and emerging market themes and regulatory requirements into product requirements to future proof our solutions; identify valuable white space; build business case for product development and improvement. 
  • Leading and participating in marketing campaigns in the regions.
  • Identifying, developing, maintaining and enhancing product-specific use cases for the regional market, potentially including developing collaterals for marketing content, research and case studies.
  • Leading and participating in product-specific deal qualifications, scoping, producing product-specific proposal and context for RFP/RFI, and monitoring regional product-specific pipelines, by collaborating with Sales and relevant teams in the sales cycle.
  • Closely liaising with Sales, Product Management and Research, facilitating timely communications on new product features, capabilities and initiatives and establishing the feedback mechanism to deliver regional intelligence and need for potential product evolutions.
  • Providing support and enablement to Sales, including solution and product training, development of internal enablement solution (when needed), for product-specific pre-sale activities.   

Client Retention and expansion with Existing Customers 

  • Partnering with Sales, Customer Success and Account Development team, on retention effort and expansion of business on the existing clients.
  • Work with sales, solution specialists, and pre-sales to define the actionable cross-selling themes for the selected markets, help to build cross-sell pipeline.  

Cross-team and cross-segment collaboration 

  • Providing product-specific support and intelligence across teams to drive business expansion of compliance solutions within the organization.
