We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our specialist cross-border Debt Issuer Services team in Hong Kong. This is a unique opportunity to work at the centre of complex, high-value Debt Capital Markets (DCM) transactions across Asia and global markets.
Working closely with investment banks, law firms and financial advisors, you will play a key role supporting liability management transactions, complex debt restructurings and operational consultancy across DCM deals. This role offers strong exposure to cross-border transactions, working alongside execution teams in Hong Kong, London and New York.
This position is ideally suited to someone who combines strong client engagement capability with hands-on transaction execution and operational ownership. While relationship management and business development are important, we are specifically seeking someone who is equally strong in project delivery, operational execution and end-to-end transaction management.

- Support engagement with Central Securities Depositories, custodians and institutional investors
- Review and negotiate standard DCM documentation

Cross-Border Collaboration
- Work closely with teams across APAC, US and global offices
- Support the execution of cross-border transactions and client delivery
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships across legal, risk, operations and commercial teams
- Support team collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions
What we are looking for
- Strong experience within Debt Capital Markets, particularly liability management and/or restructuring transactions
- Solid understanding of DCM operational processes (tender offers, exchange offers, consent solicitations etc.)
- Proven track record working across Asia (Europe and/or US exposure advantageous)
- Strong balance of client engagement capability and transaction execution experience
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of processes and operational delivery
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship management capability
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
- Experience working with senior stakeholders including issuers, banks and law firms
- Advanced Excel skills (including data manipulation such as Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP) advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance or related discipline preferred)
