Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
To act as a product manager, as requested, for one or more IRE funds and mandates. The role includes understanding all aspects of the relevant funds, becoming a subject matter expert on them, and co-ordinating activities with Portfolio Managers, Investment Operations, Client Portfolio Managers, Distribution, and other Invesco teams.
To coordinate fundraising efforts for the relevant IRE funds and mandates by managing target client lists and pipelines, providing product, investment and market updates to CPMs and Distributon, supporting client meetings, client due diligence and marketing roadshows, and managing queries and information requests from prospective clients.
To develop and execute a marketing strategy to improve the profile of the relevant IRE products, and to maintain high quality marketing collateral and contents, including digital marketing tools, by working closely with the IRE Marketing team.
To work with the RFP team to ensure timely completion of Requests for Proposal (RFPs), surveys & questionnaires according to specified deadlines, ensuring that necessary internal approvals (from CPMs and Compliance) are obtained prior to submission.
To provide investor relations service to the investors and clients of IRE, ensuring an exceptional service experience. To support IRE CPMs, the wider IRE team and Distribution teams, with prompt responses to requests for information and materials. To act as a point of contact to provide bespoke information requests for selective clients, working with the Hyderabad operations team or Invesco reporting team where possible.
To coordinate investor communication including but not limited to, managing the fund communication via the fund inbox and investor portals, query managements, organising regular update calls, investor meetings and UAC meetings.
To assist in ensuring that investor activities are carried out smoothly, liaising with Transfer Agencies, Invesco TA Oversight team and Investor Onboarding team. This includes but not limited to, co-ordinating investor onboarding, top-up and redemption requests, investor changes and transfers, AML/KYC updates, management fee rebate, and change in contact details.
To assist in ensuring that investor information is correctely recorded in relevant systems such as Investran, Viaduct, Intralinks and Salesforce.
To research the competitive landscape for the relevant funds, identifying competitors and opportunities through market intelligence tools and databases, where applicable, to help to target investor demand and opportunities.
To collaborate with the Product Development, Tax and Legal teams to support the product development and changes.
To liaise with IRE’s wider global product management team to ensure global consistency and co-ordination of client relationship management.
To ensure that all activities are in line with Invesco’s Conduct principles.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for role:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Investor Relations, Sales, Client relationship management or Product Management in an asset management business would be helpful, preferably within a Real Estate environment.
Highly proficient in MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and OneNote,. Knowledge of CRM systems (Investran, Viaduct and Salesforce) useful. Proficient English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Likely to be a graduate, but not essential. Relevant qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA, IMC) helpful.
High personal motivation; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong work ethic and respect to others.
Ability to prioritise tasks, be deadline driven and to multi-task, as necessary.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
