We are seeking a talented individual to join our Guy Carpenter team, part of our reinsurance business at Marsh This full-time onsite role will be based in Pembroke, Bermuda.
This role assists senior brokers with analyzing retrocession market trends and preparing placement documentation. Supporting client and reinsurer relationships, conduct data analysis to evaluate risk exposures and pricing, liaise with underwriters to structure retrocession agreements, and review contract documentation for accuracy and compliance.
We will count on you to:
Assist senior brokers with retrocession market analysis and placement support
Identify suitable retrocessionaires and support placement strategy
Prepare placement documentation and related materials
Support the development and maintenance of client, reinsurer, and retrocessionaire relationships
Conduct data analysis to assess risk exposures and pricing for tailored solutions
Liaise with underwriters to understand needs and help structure retrocession agreements
Review and prepare retrocession contracts and related documentation for accuracy and compliance
Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and process improvements to enhance broking workflows
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
2–5 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry, with exposure to retrocession, underwriting, or broking preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a high level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability under pressure
