The DBS Chief Investment Office (CIO) is seeking a Financial Literacy Specialist to support the development and delivery of financial education initiatives across DBS and broader industry engagement platforms. The successful candidate will translate investment, wealth management and personal finance concepts into clear, practical and engaging learning materials, while representing DBS at financial literacy talks, workshops and stakeholder engagements. As part of CIO, the candidate will also contribute to content on investment and wealth related themes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop financial literacy programmes, workshop materials, presentations and learning resources across topics including but not limited to money management, investing, insurance, retirement planning, and wealth planning
  • Represent DBS at financial literacy talks, workshops, industry engagements and client education initiatives
  • Structure financial education content into clear learning journeys tailored to diverse audience segments, including but not limited to clients, working professionals, young adults, retirees, community groups, and industry stakeholders
  • As the role sits within the Chief Investment Office, the candidate will also originate and adapt investment and wealth-related content across various mediums
  • Coordinate content planning, editorial reviews, approvals, publishing workflows and distribution across internal platforms and digital channels
  • Work with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders and vendors to drive content projects from planning through to execution

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
  • At least seven years of relevant experience in financial education, content development, editorial, communications, journalism, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of financial literacy principles, with familiarity across key topics such as money management, investing, insurance, retirement planning, and wealth planning
  • Confident presenter and facilitator, with the ability to deliver financial literacy talks, workshops or training sessions to diverse audiences
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a sharp eye for accuracy, clarity, tone and detail
  • Strong editorial judgement, with the ability to operate effectively within governance requirements, stakeholder review processes and a highly matrixed corporate environment
  • Organised, collaborative and comfortable working across investment, product, digital, marketing, communications, technology, legal and compliance teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with digital publishing platforms, content management systems or social media formats would be advantageous
