We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based system administration, automation, security, and troubleshooting to support our business-critical applications and services.

We Will Count on You To:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud resources including compute (EC2), storage (S3), networking (VPC), and databases
  • Monitor the health, performance, and utilization of AWS environments, and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Configure and secure Amazon S3 buckets with encryption, versioning, lifecycle rules, and bucket policies.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, manage AWS IAM, and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Plan and execute AWS migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure expansions.
  • Optimize AWS resources for cost-effectiveness and performance using tools like AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support application deployments and integrations on AWS.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all AWS configurations and procedures.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting of AWS infrastructure issues.
  • Participate in a rotating weekly oncall schedule.

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as an AWS cloud administrator with hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and services.
  • AWS certification (AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with AWS monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Systems Manager.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with additional cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, OCI) /other platform is a valuable asset
