Business Technology Manager - Guidewire Insurance Suite - Aviation Insurance

- Ensure that USAIG’s primary Business applications built on the Guidewire Cloud platform maintain high availability, reliability, and stability - Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations to improve performance and user experience - Manage the Internal and External Support teams - Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and implementation partners as well as key resources from USAIG’s parent company - With assistance from USAIG’s parent company, negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements - Maintain a forward looking technology roadmap tailored to the frontline business needs - Collaborate with parent company cybersecurity team along with external vendors ensure systems meet security and regulatory standards - Serve as a technical advisor to business units, helping them leverage tools effectively - Oversee technology risk assessments, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity readiness - Fully comprehend and make sound business decisions that are in the best interest of the organization’s unique business dynamic and align with the intricacies of a managing general agency that underwrites aviation insurance on behalf of a pool of member insurance companies - Perform miscellaneous projects and administrative functions as assigned
