As an Analyst as part of the Cash Operations Team, you support end-to-end transaction processing across multiple products while maintaining strong controls and service standards. You ensure trades and payments are executed accurately, reconciled daily, and resolved quickly when issues arise. You partner closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate execution and provide timely updates. You use data, automation, and clear communication to reduce breaks, streamline workflows, and improve outcomes.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute daily transaction processing across products (e.g., New Taiwan Dollar (TWD) payments, cheques, and foreign exchange (FX)) according to agreed timelines
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to confirm details, execute transactions, and support smooth settlement
  • Perform daily reconciliations, investigate breaks, and document root causes and corrective actions
  • Prepare and submit required local regulatory reports accurately and on schedule
  • Escalate unusual issues, control exceptions, or operational risks promptly, and support timely resolution
  • Respond to inquiries from internal partners with clear, accurate status updates and next steps
  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring instructions are current and easy to follow
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors using data, automation, and practical artificial intelligence tools
  • Support process improvement initiatives that strengthen controls, reduce cycle time, and improve client outcomes
  • Partner with managers and teammates on operational priorities and team deliverables

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • College degree
  • 1 year of banking experience
  • Initial Foreign Exchange Personnel License (or equivalent required license for the role)
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain issues and actions clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures and controls
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaborative working style
  • Ability to investigate exceptions, reconcile differences, and drive issues to resolution

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting foreign exchange (FX), payments, or cheque processing operations
  • Experience preparing regulatory reporting in a controlled operations environment
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools or automation to improve operational workflows
  • Familiarity with data interpretation, basic analysis, and communicating insights to stakeholders
  • Experience updating process documentation and improving operational controls
