We give you a world of potential
Step into a role that offers broad exposure across audit, risk, compliance, and information security within a global organisation. You'll partner with senior leaders, clients, and external auditors to drive trusted assurance outcomes while shaping strategic improvements across the business. With opportunities to influence, innovate, and grow, you'll play a key role in strengthening confidence and resilience across our enterprise.
A role you will love
This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll lead the delivery of Computershare's Client & External Audit programme across Europe and Australia. You'll manage a team spanning the UK, Europe and Australia, ensuring the successful delivery of third-party audit reports (including SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISAE 3402), client audit activities and assurance responses that help maintain trust with our clients and regulators.
Acting as the face of Client & External Audit across the region, you'll build strong relationships with clients, business leaders and external auditors, providing clear and confident communication on assurance, controls and risk matters. This role combines people leadership, client engagement and operational oversight, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on client confidence, service delivery and business growth.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team across the UK, Europe and Australia, creating a high-performing and collaborative environment focused on exceptional client service and delivery excellence.
- Oversee the planning, coordination and successful delivery of the Client & External Audit programme, including SOC 1, SOC 2, ISAE 3402 and other third-party audit engagements.
- Act as the primary regional point of contact for client audit and assurance activities, building trusted relationships with clients, external auditors and senior business stakeholders.
- Manage client due diligence requests, questionnaires, RFIs, RFPs and control-related enquiries, ensuring responses are accurate, consistent and delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure client audits and site visits are professionally coordinated and executed, helping the business navigate audit requirements while minimising operational disruption.
- Drive the continuous improvement of assurance processes, reporting and service delivery, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
- Support the development and execution of the Third-Party Assurance strategy, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with business leaders, control owners and subject matter experts to resolve issues, manage competing priorities and remove barriers to delivery.
- Provide regular reporting and insight on programme performance, delivery risks and client trends to senior management.
What you will bring to this role
- Strong people leadership experience, including managing and developing teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, senior executives and external auditors.
- Excellent organisational and programme management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple audits, requests and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience managing client-facing assurance, audit, compliance or risk-related activities within a regulated or complex business environment.
- A customer-focused mindset with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and deliver excellent service outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive issues through to resolution.
