Who we are looking for
State Street is looking for a Compliance and Security M365 Architect to become part of our Collaboration Services team. We are looking for a technical architect with deep experience in Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender solution suites and who also has significant experience with other M365 applications including Exchange, Teams and SharePoint. Working with various tower leads, engineers & operations team members, the Compliance and Security M365 Architect will be primarily responsible for architecture and design, future state, documentation and adoption assistance for Purview and Defender solutions across the enterprise. This person will also need to be able to build consensus across different teams and have the technical and organizational skills to lead complex efforts.
What you will be responsible for
As the Collaboration Services Technical Architect, you will
- Regularly establishing, updating and documenting technical standards.
- Lead adoption and optimization of Purview and Defender solutions.
- Establishing procedural guidelines for the usage of Purview, particularly in the shared spaces.
- Work directly with M365 app tower leads to support their applications integrations to Purview and Defender.
- Act as the product owner for both Purview and Defender at a platform level.
- Act as a liaison for the platforms to the business
- Work directly with legal to support their requirements.
- Work directly with records management to support their requirements
- Work directly with directly with privacy to support their requirements
- Work directly with cyber security to support their requirements
- Maintain RASCI matrix for all solutions in both product suites.
- Establish and document operational guidance for supporting the solutions
- Lead multiple aspects of our data governance strategy.
- Own design, architecture and engineering documentation for both solution suites.
- Prepare for, and take part in, internal audit activities
- Conduct bi-annual reviews of internal documentation & processes. Create remediation plans based on findings
- Work with management and the strategy team to define long term solution & environment roadmaps
- Working across towers to continuously evaluate and improve our data governance and data security postures.
- Provide L5 support in the event of major incidents.
- Work to reduce tech debt; routinely look for and offer up rationalization proposals

- Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, M365 application suite, conditional access policies, Microsoft Teams, Azure B2B and external collaboration

Note: The role requires a minimum of three days per week working from the office
Minimum Salary:
zł282,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
