Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent individual to join the Consultant Database Management Team. You will play an important role in supporting business development across the Client Group by helping to deliver accurate, high-quality product and firm-level data to investment consultants, clients and third parties. The role combines Consultant Databases activity, client data, stakeholder engagement, data quality oversight and process improvement, with a focus on ensuring our data is trusted, consistent and fit for purpose.

The base
Our head office is based in 1 London Wall Place in the City of London. We are close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The team
The Consultant Database Management team is responsible for sourcing, maintaining and distributing primarily quantitative data relating to Schroders and its investment products. The team sits within the Business Development Services function, partnering with colleagues across the Client Group, as well as Public and Private Markets, to grow our client base and service existing investors and consultants.
Support existing clients through bespoke client reporting, delivering quantitative data on clients’ existing fund holdings in client-specific formats and coordinating distribution through the relevant sales representative.
What you’ll do
As a Consultant Database Specialist, you will help ensure Schroders’ product and firm-level data is accurate, accessible and effectively delivered through Consultant Databases and related channels. You will work with client-facing, public and private market investment product teams and subject matter experts from across the business to understand data requirements, resolve queries and deliver high-quality outputs that contribute to business development.
Key responsibilities:
Support the delivery of accurate and timely data submissions to support Consultant Databases globally.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with sales, public and private markets investment teams and subject matter experts from across the business to ensure our data serves our clients' and consultants’ needs.
Support our global RFP function with data accessibility, data enablement and quality checks.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to produce accurate, high-quality data, while supporting team members through peer reviews to maintain consistency and quality standards.
Liaise with external Consultant Databases providers to add and maintain product information on their platforms.
Identify opportunities to improve data processes, reduce manual effort and strengthen the quality, consistency and usability of Consultant Databases content.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
Data reporting and/or client reporting experience.
Interest in private and public markets investment products.
A strong team player who can use their own initiative and work independently.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with internal stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Numerate with a problem-solving mindset.
Experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
Consultant Databases or client service reporting experience.
Experience using AI tools to support data analysis, quality checks or process improvement.
Experience in providing excellent customer service is beneficial.
Experience using eVestment Analytics.
