As a Payments Sales Associate within Consumer, Retail, and Business Services, you support Payments Sales Managers (PSM's) with sales efforts and day-to-day relationship management for large corporate clients. You help identify client needs, coordinate internal stakeholders, and contribute to developing solutions that improve client outcomes. You support deal execution activities such as pricing support, proposal coordination, and preparation of client materials. You also assist with onboarding and implementation processes to help deliver a consistent client experience.
Job responsibilities
Support portfolio growth by assisting sales managers with sales execution and client engagement activities
Build relationships within client treasury organizations to understand needs, anticipate challenges, and connect clients to appropriate internal partners
Coordinate cross-functional and regional deal activity, including solution development support, pricing inputs, and proposal workflow management
Support request-for-proposal and request-for-information processes by organizing inputs, timelines, and deliverables with product partners
Prepare client research and pitch materials, and coordinate meeting follow-ups by driving actions across internal teams
Develop account plans, briefing memos, and materials to support relationship reviews in partnership with client service teams
Coordinate onboarding documentation and support seamless integration with implementation partners through clear tracking and follow-through
Submit and monitor onboarding, client due diligence (know-your-customer), and implementation requests, escalating appropriately to meet client needs while managing expectations
Analyze transactional data to identify trends, risks, and pricing or billing inefficiencies; summarize insights and recommended actions
Contribute client insights in partner forums to align solutions with client objectives and broader firm priorities
Support product implementations and client service escalations by coordinating stakeholders and driving timely resolution
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
2+ years of experience in cash management, treasury services, payments, or a related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex issues into clear, concise conclusions
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization, planning, and follow-through
Demonstrated ability to build and leverage internal networks to mobilize resources and drive outcomes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to analyze transactional or business data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Experience supporting client onboarding and implementation workflows, including documentation tracking and stakeholder coordination
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience supporting large corporate clients and/or complex, multi-stakeholder relationship coverage models
Familiarity with diversified industries client needs and treasury operating models
Knowledge of payments and treasury services products and solutions
Experience supporting pricing analysis and profitability or billing reviews
Exposure to credit processes and partnership with credit stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to propose process improvements and advance team-wide initiatives
Bachelor’s degree
