Job Description:

At Regions, the Corporate Banking Group Syndications Fulfillment Manager owns the end‑to‑end closing, funding, and booking of complex credit facilities originated within the Corporate Bank Group (Corporate/Commercial/Real Estate Banking). This role partners with Coverage, Underwriting, Agency Loan Services, Legal, and external counsel to ensure documentation accuracy, operational feasibility, regulatory compliance, and a clean handoff to life‑of‑loan servicing. In addition, this role acts as the control point that issues Clear to Close and drives timely, accurate funding and boarding.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serves as a subject‑matter expert for Fulfillment specialists, analysts, and team leads, actively troubleshooting complex issues related to closing, funding, and booking processes
  • Acts as the primary escalation point for deal‑level questions, exceptions, and operational roadblocks, assessing root causes and determining appropriate escalation paths
  • Provides advanced problem solving and guidance on documentation interpretation, funding mechanics, and policy application to ensure accurate execution
  • Supports team efficiency by triaging high‑risk, high‑priority, or time‑sensitive transactions and helping balance workflow across pipelines
  • Oversees complex activities (e.g., document alignment, booking setups, exception handling, funding packages) to ensure adherence to risk management frameworks and internal controls
  • Monitors control metrics and performance indicators to maintain high levels of operational accuracy, policy compliance, and alignment with risk expectations
  • Ensures data quality and compliance across assigned deals, maintaining accuracy and audit readiness for internal and external reviews
  • Identifies recurring issues, process gaps, or control failures, and partners with leadership to implement solutions that enhance accuracy and reduce cycle times
  • Supports team development through procedure updates, training materials, onboarding, and best‑practice standardization
  • Participates in system enhancements and user testing, providing practical feedback to improve tools, processes, and adoption
  • Applies seasoned judgment to evaluate operational feasibility, risk implications, and exception scenarios, escalating to leadership or risk partners when required
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Legal, Servicing, Relationship Teams) and external partners, while enforcing compliance, guiding loan structure design, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Eight (8) years of experience in commercial/syndicated loan closing, booking, or servicing

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Developed relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements (KYC/AML, flood, insurance) and agency/syndication workflows
  • Knowledge of construction loan requirements, including but not limited to plans, permits, plan and cost review, along with initial draw documentation
  • Knowledge of real estate loan due diligence requirements, including but not limited to appraisal, flood, survey, title, environmental, purchase agreements, tenant leases, estoppels, SNDA, insurance, property conditions assessments, zoning
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong comprehension of loan documentation and closing mechanics; experience coordinating with external counsel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Important Details

  • Position will be based out of either Hoover, AL or Atlanta, GA. With onsite expectations of a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • In addition, occasional travel is required. Travel frequency is expected to be 1 to 2 times per month but may vary depending on business needs.

Pay on job posting reflects Atlanta and may vary slightly if selected candidate is in the Birmingham Market.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$135,747.00 USD

Median:

$171,822.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
