Job Description:

At Regions, the Corporate Banking Group Syndications Servicing Manager manages all aspects of the Syndicated Loan Services group, including loan servicing, amending facilities, and various maintenance requests. The Corporate Banking Group (CBG) Lending Operations team delivers end-to-end operational support for commercial and syndicated lending products across CIM, Real Estate Banking, and Commercial Banking. The Corporate and Syndicated Lending Operations function includes Syndicated Loan Agency Services, Syndicated Loan Services, Loan Fulfillment, and Loan Trading Operations. These teams support the full loan lifecycle, partnering closely with front-office, credit, legal, and risk management stakeholders to ensure accurate execution, servicing, and risk oversight of the Bank's syndicated loan portfolio. Syndicated Loan Services is responsible for post-closing servicing of syndicated loan transactions across all lines of businesses.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the Syndicated Loan Services group, including loan servicing, amending facilities, and various maintenance requests

  • Monitors team members' production and errors

  • Seeks opportunities for the improvement and simplification of processes to enhance stakeholder experience, and determine the possibility of reducing redundant or repetitive tasks

  • Assists the team during peak times with daily tasks and responsibilities

  • Writes procedures, establishes training, and ensures adherence to key controls

  • Monitors individual team members' performance and provides feedback

  • Completes analysis of the team's performance through key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for monthly business reviews

  • Focuses on payment and operational risk management

  • Ensures compliance with bank policy and all applicable federal regulations and state laws

  • Provides leadership, direction, and growth opportunities to members of the department

  • Interviews, hires, plans, assigns, or directs work, appraises performance, disciplines team members, and resolves problems

  • Works with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Or eight (8) years of related syndicated loan work experience, particularly in an Admin Agent role

  • Five (5) years of management experience

  • Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a high-pressure environment

  • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Extremely detail oriented with a proven track record of accuracy

  • Knowledge of banking systems used to manage the Syndicated lending business: Advanced Commercial Banking Systems (ACBS), Automated Financial Systems (AFS) Level III, ClearPar, SyndTrak, Notice Manager

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, SharePoint)

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong understanding of operational and payment risk

Additional Important Details

  • Position will be based out of either Hoover, AL or Atlanta, GA. With onsite expectations of a minimum of 4 days per week.
  • In addition, occasional travel is required. Travel frequency is expected to be 1 to 2 times per month but may vary depending on business needs.

Pay on job posting reflects Atlanta and may vary slightly if selected candidate is in the Birmingham Market.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Minimum:

$111,969.00 USD

Median:

$157,500.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
