WTW is seeking a commercial and growth-oriented Country Leader to represent the business in the Czech Republic and Slovakia market and lead the Corporate Risk and Broking business. The role will focus on driving growth and profitability, strengthening client and insurer relationships, and ensuring strong operational delivery across the geography. This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced insurance or broking professional who can combine country leadership, business development and team leadership capability.
The Role
Represent WTW in the marketplace and lead the Corporate Risk and Broking business across the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Develop and execute sales strategies and organic growth plans that support revenue growth, profitability and market development.
Act as director and legal representative for the relevant WTW Corporate Risk and Broking entities registered in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as applicable.
Manage smooth, compliant day-to-day business operations in partnership with Finance, Operations, Compliance, HR and other support functions.
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with key clients and support strong retention across the Corporate Risk and Broking portfolio.
Maintain senior underwriting relationships with key insurers to strengthen market leverage and achieve strong client outcomes.
Drive new sales pipeline, sales opportunities, pricing discipline and profitable service delivery.
Connect WTW expertise across specialty, geography, product and industry to deliver high-quality client solutions and excellent client experiences.
Collaborate with Corporate Risk and Broking leaders in other countries and regions to support international client growth.
Lead, coach and develop colleagues, including production coaching, talent development, retention planning and addressing under-performance where needed.
Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, client focus and commitment to WTW values across the business.
The Role

The Requirements
- Senior commercial leadership experience in insurance, broking, risk advisory or a closely related professional services environment.
- Strong track record in business development, revenue generation, sales pipeline management and client relationship growth.
- Experience leading or influencing teams across a country, geography or business line, with accountability for commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of corporate insurance, broking markets, client needs and insurer relationship management.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and partner with Finance, Operations, Compliance, HR and regional business leaders.
- Financial and commercial acumen, including pricing discipline, profitability management and expense control.
- Strong client-facing presence, market credibility and ability to build trusted senior relationships.
- People leadership capability, including coaching, performance management, engagement and talent development
- Growth mindset, practical execution focus and ability to support a long-term succession and market development agenda.
- Fluent business English and the ability to operate effectively with regional and international stakeholders.
