Shape the future of user experience with strategic design initiatives that blend business needs and user insights using the latest technologies.
As a Creative Technologist within the Design and Customer Experience (DCE) team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our products and services. Leveraging your deep knowledge of design and software development, you will help drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
Drives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
Develop and execute customer experience strategies for complex projects and ensure alignment with business objectives and user needs across multiple product areas
Diagram service flows and product features, design wireframes, and prototype interactions for key touchpoints as you lead end-to-end initiatives within a specific domain.
Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into the product development processes and ensure seamless and customer-centric solutions
Analyze market trends, gather feedback from user research, and learn from data insights to inform design decisions and optimize user experiences across various platforms and channels
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes
Demonstrated experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, with the ability to incorporate diverse perspectives and abilities into solutions
Proven ability to develop experiences that meet or exceed the initial proposal of a product or experience, including the development of transformational innovation strategies and the creation of 'north star' representations to drive customer-centric decision-making
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including rationale and storytelling that persuades senior leaders or aligns multiple stakeholders
Expert in the latest AI technologies and trends including Claude, ChatGPT, and other LLMs.
Broad skillset with an adaptable, product-oriented mindset and a love for learning
Expert using Figma and FigJam
Experience in conversation design and/or chatbots
