Overview
East West Bank (EWB) is seeking a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Real Estate Group of the Dallas Office. The Credit Analyst will evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses applying for credit with EWB.
Responsibilities
- Able to demonstrate moderate to superior skills in financial statement spreading and the evaluation of budgets and projections.
- Support Relationship Manager / Portfolio Manager in evaluating, recommending, managing bank loans and other forms of bank credit.
- Apply the Bank’s credit policy and procedures.
- Stay current on underwriting practices of the Bank.
- Assist in accurately risk-rating loans/credits.
- Assist in evaluating numerous transaction types across a broad array of commercial asset classes, including pulling Co-Star reporting as needed
- Perform Quarterly DSCR testing.
- Facilitate in developing problem loan credit solutions.
- Assist with portfolio management, Loan Monitoring and updating ONTRACK Reports in compliance with C&I and CRE Desktop Procedures
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with the applicable concentration in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Communications with equivalent experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Compensation
