Make an impact in India Custody Operations by owning critical asset servicing workflows and delivering a strong client experience. You will manage complex corporate action events and proxy voting activities, partner with global teams, and help improve how we operate through smarter processes and digital tools. This role is ideal if you are detail-focused, client-minded, and motivated to learn and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

As an Asset Servicing Analyst in Custody Operations, you will support India market asset servicing activities across announcement capture, liquidation, client instruction processing for voluntary events, and proxy voting services. You will ensure timely and accurate processing, maintain strong risk controls, and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders. You will also contribute to process enhancements and digital initiatives that improve efficiency and service delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute daily control checkpoints, client instructions, and query management with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Escalate issues promptly to internal and external partners to drive resolution.
  • Manage corporate actions queries as a key point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Monitor accuracy rates, validate inputs, and investigate exceptions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Review existing processes and implement improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Support team controls by monitoring risk and ensuring required checks and documentation are completed.
  • Provide guidance and training to strengthen team capability and improve client experience.
  • Partner with global custody, client service, product, and regional processing teams to improve service delivery.
  • Support and implement digital tool initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
  • Document and implement new or changed processes effectively in a changing environment.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in asset servicing supporting the India market.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate inputs and identify exceptions.
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement, with the ability to make reliable decisions independently.
  • Proactive approach to strengthening controls and driving process improvements.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain risks and challenges clearly to stakeholders and management.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, tools, and changing priorities.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
     

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting corporate actions and proxy voting workflows for the India market.
  • Experience contributing to process enhancement or digital tool initiatives at a regional or global level.
  • Experience working in a risk and controls-focused operations environment.
