Scope and Purpose
Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Albania is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Data & AI Office Specialist to join its Data & AI Office within the Chief Governance Officer Division.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Bank's data transformation journey by strengthening the governance, quality, and strategic use of data and Artificial Intelligence across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing the Bank's Data Governance and Data Quality Framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with Group standards and best practices.
The position requires a combination of analytical capabilities, governance expertise, technological awareness, and strong stakeholder management skills to promote a data-driven culture and support informed decision-making throughout the Bank.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous enhancement of the Bank's Data Governance and Data Quality Framework, ensuring alignment with Group standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and assess data quality across critical systems and processes, identify deficiencies, propose corrective measures, and track remediation activities.
- Contribute to the development of data governance metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytical tools that support business insights and strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate the adoption of data governance principles, policies, standards, and controls across business and support functions.
- Collaborate closely with business units, IT teams, and data owners to translate business needs into effective governance and data management solutions.
- Support the implementation and oversight of data management processes, including data classification, metadata management, and data lifecycle controls.
- Monitor regulatory, technological, and industry developments related to data governance, data management, and Artificial Intelligence, assessing their potential impact on the Bank.
- Contribute to initiatives related to AI governance, responsible AI practices, and the integration of AI capabilities within the Bank's operating model.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related area.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R, as well as familiarity with data modeling concepts and database structures.
- Good understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Management principles, and related frameworks.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts, including their practical application within data governance and business environments.
- Ability to effectively bridge business, regulatory, and technical perspectives, translating complex data-related matters into actionable solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
