Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for smart contracts, blockchain integrations, and platform components
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks for smart contract testing (unit, integration, and scenario-based tests)
- Develop automated API testing suites for blockchain integration services and platform APIs
- Create and execute test cases for web applications and user interfaces
- Perform security testing including smart contract vulnerability analysis and penetration testing coordination
- Conduct performance and load testing for blockchain integrations and platform services under various network conditions
- Test transaction flows end-to-end across smart contracts, blockchain networks, and platform layers
- Validate data accuracy and consistency across blockchain indexing and enterprise data stores
- Collaborate with developers to understand technical implementations and identify edge cases
- Work with product managers and business analysts to translate requirements into comprehensive test scenarios
- Document test plans, test cases, and quality metrics; provide regular status reporting
- Establish and maintain QA standards, processes, and best practices for the digital asset team
- Participate in code reviews with focus on testability and quality considerations
- Mentor team members on testing techniques, automation frameworks, and QA methodologies
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and support business stakeholder testing efforts
- Manage defect lifecycle from identification through resolution verification
- Research and evaluate testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies for blockchain and digital asset applications
- Work with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Support production validation and post-deployment verification activities
- Participate in incident analysis and contribute to root cause investigations

- Smart contract, integration, and platform developers within the digital asset team
- Product Managers and Business Analysts
- DevOps, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams
- Security Engineering and Cybersecurity teams
- Business stakeholders and UAT participants
- Offshore and remote QA and development teams
- Technology working groups (Internal QA group) and quality forums
- External security auditors and penetration testing firms
Required Education/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Strong QA engineering background with experience in test automation
- Experience testing APIs, distributed systems, or complex integrations
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles
Preferred Education/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience testing blockchain applications, smart contracts, or cryptocurrency systems
- Familiarity with smart contract testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, etc.)
- Experience with security testing and vulnerability assessment
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies
- Understanding of blockchain transaction lifecycle and network behavior
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration

- Smart contract testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, Brownie, Anchor)
- Test automation frameworks for APIs (Postman, REST Assured, Pytest)
- Web UI test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer)
- Programming/scripting languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Solidity
- Blockchain testing concepts: transaction simulation, state testing, gas optimization validation
- Security testing methodologies and common smart contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow, access control, etc.)
- Performance testing tools (JMeter, K6, Locust)
- Version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools
- CI/CD platforms and test integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Defect tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
- API testing tools and techniques
- Database query and data validation techniques
- Understanding of cryptographic concepts relevant to blockchain testing
- Docker and containerized test environments
- Cloud platforms and test infrastructure provisioning
The Expected Salary Range For The Above Position Is $135,000 - $225,000 Depending On Factors Including But Not Limited To The Candidate'S Experience, Skills, Registration Status; Market Conditions; And Business Needs. This Salary Range Does Not Include Other Elements Of Total Compensation, Including A Discretionary Bonus And Benefits Such As A 401(K) Program With Company-Matching Contributions; Health, Dental, Vision, Life And Disability Insurance; And Paid Time-Off Plan.
