About This Job

Axos is one of the fastest-growing digital banks in the country, and we make decisions like it. This is a newly created business management role, reporting to the Head of Strategy and Analytics for the Consumer Bank. You’ll work with business and functional leaders to give a business with brilliant people across many teams one shared picture of what matters, how we’re progressing, and what to do next.

You’ll work side by side with leaders across every function, with a level of visibility and a network few roles offer. The team is new, with room to hire a few people as the role grows.

If you thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, this is a rare chance to help shape the next growth phase of a fast-scaling digital bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen decision-making across the Consumer Bank as a whole. Bring an integrated view of every business and function to guide the strategic initiatives and priorities that matter most for scalable growth.
  • Partner with business heads to sharpen priorities and plans.
  • Run the OKR program for the Consumer Bank, keeping the cadence and working with business and functional leaders on OKR performance.
  • Elevate and drive the operating rhythm. Lead business reviews and executive sessions, supported by one trusted source for initiatives and priorities, so meetings are insight-led, productive and decision-ready.
  • Connect product, marketing, lending, deposits, and operations around shared goals, and help move cross-functional initiatives forward.
  • Take on high-priority strategic projects. Own them end to end, from scoping through delivery, working across the businesses and functions involved.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree a plus.
  • 7+ years in strategy, business operations, consulting, marketing, or program leadership, ideally in a financial services or high-growth consumer business, though that’s not required.
  • An exceptional communicator who turns complex metrics into clear, executive-ready stories that move people to action.
  • Experience running operating rhythms with rigor: business reviews, forums, initiative tracking, executive reporting.
  • A track record of structuring complex initiatives and bringing people together to deliver them, with or without formal authority.
  • Comfort with data and the instinct to build narratives and drive decisions, not just report numbers.

Axos Employee Benefits May Include:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

  • Paid Sick Leave, 3 weeks’ Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)

  • HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits

  • 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings Plan

  • Employee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed Trading
