This is an in-office position (Monday–Thursday) based in Chicago, Illinois.
Primary Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to the Co-President and Global Head of Real Assets at Blue Owl. This is a highly visible role within a dynamic, fast-paced team, requiring exceptional judgment and discretion. Key responsibilities include:
Manage complex scheduling of internal and external meetings, including coordination with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders; issue calendar invitations and secure conference rooms.
Prepare and organize materials for external client and prospect meetings as needed.
Coordinate heavy domestic and international travel arrangements and process related expense reports.
Oversee complex, multi-time-zone calendar management with dynamic prioritization.
Track outstanding correspondence and provide timely follow-up support.
Support ad hoc team projects and initiatives as needed.
Collaborate with the Real Assets Chicago administrative team on various projects and operational needs.
Qualifications
Significant prior administrative experience in financial services, preferably in alternative asset management.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams.
Demonstrated experience coordinating complex international travel.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate needs.
A collaborative, flexible mindset — no task is too large or too small.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this Chicago-based position is $115,000–$130,000. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and team performance.
