As we expand our team, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Policy and Settlement Analyst to contribute to our commitment to excellence in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Create monthly settlement of profit center transactions.
- Booking of exception transactions into our partner booking system.
- Research discrepancies identified by collections and offer possible solutions.
- Assist with audits by gathering pertinent documents and answering any follow up auditor questions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
Preferred:
- Proven experience in insurance policy analysis or a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to observe when numbers are not where they should be
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000 - $70,000
