Fixed Income Salesnew

Responsibilities

 

·       Strengthen DBS’s Fixed Income franchise through the distribution of Fixed Income Products to onshore investors.

 

·       Assist in building the Fixed Income Platform through offerings in cash bonds, Swap solutions, and other value-added services such as Leverage Solutions, and Asset Enhancement Solutions for clients

 

·       Support in facilitating flow business with GFM Credit Trading to service liquidity in bond markets with clients

 

·       Provide regular market updates and trade ideas to that help the team achieve the financial budget with key business partners

 

·       Assist in Fixed Income product distribution, including pitching Primary and Secondary deals, trade execution, and settlements

 

·       Aid in Primary deal placements into investors, and driving reverse inquiry private placements

 

·       Prepare market data reports, and sharing market information gathered to facilitate better market-making and DCM capabilities

 

·       Perform various administrative tasks as assigned by team head (including digital project matters)

 

Requirements

 

·      Degree holder with a minimum of 6 years of experience in capital markets, preferably in the field of sales advisory, specifically in Credit or Rates Sales

 

·       Experience in data analysis and digital transformation is an advantage

 

·       Good interpersonal skills, a good grasp on product knowledge in Fixed Income cash bonds

 

·       Experience or knowledge in derivatives relevant to Fixed Income such as Interest-Rate Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, CDS, REPOs and other related products would be ideal

 

·       Solid business relationships with market participants

 

·       Excellent organizational and analytical skills with good business acumen

 

·       Strong data analytical mindset and ability to formulate business strategies in changing market conditions

 

·       A team player, with strong mindset to be compliant with regulations in responsible dealing

 

·       Fulfillment of requirements under the Enhanced Competency Framework on Treasury Management is preferred

 

·       Good command of written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

 

·       RI license holder with passes in HKSI Licensing Exam (Paper 1, 7 , 8) or equivalent
