Job Description:

A Managing Director in Crowe's Forensic Services Group will have an understanding of forensic accounting fundamentals and will have the ability to apply those forensic accounting skills with judgement to analyze financial information.  Further, they would be responsible for leading a team delivering forensic accounting and fraud investigation services, maintaining client relationships, contributing to managing engagement economics and risk, and assisting with the growth of the forensics practice.

 

Managing Director Role Capabilities:

 

·         Applies results of data analysis processes with knowledge of financial and emerging management concepts, accounting and operational systems, other business data, performance measures and benchmarks to identify trends, risk/problem areas and opportunities to deliver high quality services or improve client business results

·         Conducts engagement in compliance with applicable professional, legal, regulatory and firm requirements

·         Actively seeks and supports new opportunities for the firm by identifying innovative strategies to create business opportunities for desired markets

·         Identifies opportunities to add value to existing clients or to capture new clients by bringing them targeted, effective ideas and solutions

·         Positions team for successful engagement execution, quality results and client satisfaction by clearly working within project parameters, managing resources and processes and anticipating and resolving issues

·         Delivers on client commitments while meeting budget and realization goals

·         Improves brand awareness, visibility and business opportunities (within the firm and in the external market)

·         Provides value-added strategies or services to assist clients in achieving their business objectives and to assist clients in resolving issues by matching in-depth understanding of client’s business with expert knowledge of industry trends, benchmarks or best practices

·         Has broad and deep external professional relationships and capability to build a book of business to meet established sales goals

 

Qualifications:

 

·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

·         Possess CPA or working towards completing CPA exam required, CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) preferred

·         10+ years of forensic accounting/fraud investigation and contract compliance experience required

·         Professional services firm experience required

·         Strong analytical and organization skills

·         Ability to work on multiple projects

·         Staff supervisory experience required

·         Ability and desire to develop leadership skills

·         Ability and desire to build networking skills and develop strong working relationships (both internally and externally) with business decision makers

·         Ability to travel and work additional hours when required

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $180,500.00 - $380,500.00 per year.
