Freelance On-Site Multilingual LQA Tester – São Paulonew

We’re currently exploring a potential freelance LQA testing opportunity for an upcoming gaming localization project in the following languages:

• Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)

• German

• Brazilian Portuguese

• European Spanish

• Latin American Spanish

• French

• Italian

• Polish

• Japanese

• Korean

• Turkish

• Russian

The engagement is expected to last approximately 3 months, with a possibility of extension, and would involve 10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours depending on project needs.

About the Role

As an LQA Tester, you’ll help ensure the linguistic quality and overall player experience of the localized game. You’ll review in-game content, identify linguistic issues, and accurately report and track bugs throughout the testing process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform linguistic quality assurance testing on localized game content.

• Review in-game text and identify linguistic, grammatical, and contextual issues.

• Log and clearly describe language-related bugs and issues.

• Follow project guidelines and testing procedures.

• Collaborate with the project team to help ensure a high-quality player experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in localization QA, preferably in the gaming industry.

• Native-level fluency in the target language.

• Strong English skills for understanding instructions and communicating with the project team.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools.

• A genuine passion for video games 🎮

• Ability to work on-site in São Paulo.
