As a Fund Servicing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing Transfer Agency operations across one or more functional areas including Dealing, Registration, Pricing, Cash, Reconciliations, Fund Implementation, and Dividends. You will oversee daily operational performance, drive execution excellence, manage risk and controls, and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional client service while supporting strategic business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end operational workflow within Transfer Agency functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions and client deliverables.
  • Manage daily operations and control activities to ensure adherence to service level agreements, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members and managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize team capacity through effective resource planning, workforce management, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Ensure all operational controls, reconciliations, client inquiries, and exception management activities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, operational metrics, and service delivery standards, implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, enhance client experience, and drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements, policies, and risk management frameworks.
  • Support strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and business transformation projects across Transfer Agency operations.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading operations teams within Transfer Agency, Asset Servicing, Fund Services, Custody, or related financial services environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Transfer Agency operations, Reconciliations, Settlements, Trade Support, Custody, Asset Servicing, and Risk & Control frameworks.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk management, controls, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet critical deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience leading large-scale operational transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management, Transfer Agency, Fund Accounting, or Custody products and services.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive change across global teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for business growth, process enhancement, and operational scalability.
  • Experience managing client-facing operations and driving service excellence initiatives.
