Job Description

Within the Group Investments, Treasury and Financing department, missions dedicated to the Financing and Capital Management team mainly encompass the Group’s capital structuring and allocation along with the refinancing of the factoring activity. Apart from its main activity focused on credit insurance, the Group is also present in the factoring market in Germany and in Poland for a total portfolio of ~ 3,5bn € of outstanding receivables.

 

Your role:

Refinancing management & monitoring:

  • Define and implement refinancing strategy mainly around trade receivable securitization, commercial papers and bank funding.
  • Ensure sustainable and cost-efficient refinancing structure dedicated to the factoring activity.
  • Set-up new sources, follow-up and renewal /restructuring of the different sources of funding (RFP process, banking partner selection, coordination of internal project team, legal contract negotiations etc.).
  • Manage & secure long-term relationships with the Group’s banking partners.
  • Refinancing need follow-up including budget analysis, KPI, liquidity need and refinancing cost monitoring.

Profitability & capital requirement monitoring

  • Participate at an early stage to the budget process with factoring entities and Control department (assumptions validation, refinancing structure sizing and cost projection, verify exposure/ROE adequacy etc.).
  • Supervise regulatory capital requirement computations according to CRR regulation on a quarterly basis, deliver results and analysis to the Group CFO and regional CFOs.
  • Monitor regulatory requirement developments for the activity (CRR II / CRD IV) and implement adjustments to the RWA engine when required.
  • Perform regulatory capital requirement projections for the activity and contribute to the Group Solvency Ratio projection process. 

Participate to potential studies aiming at optimizing capital requirement for factoring, proceed to solution implementation.

 

 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5-7 years professional experience in a finance position either in an international corporate or in the banking industry
    • Knowledge or prior experience in securitization and/or factoring 
    • Master’s Degree – Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other business related degree
    • Fluency in English and French is a necessary ability to negotiate complex legal documentations in English
    • Good knowledge & understanding of Basel regulation CRR / CRD IV
    • Strong analytical, writing and communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Attention to detail, self-directed, organized and efficient at time management
    • Expert knowledge of Excel and MS Office
