Chase Auto is a leading provider of auto financing to dealers, consumers, and manufacturers, with a portfolio of more than 80 billion in assets and relationships across 75% of U.S. franchised automotive dealers. The Commercial Solutions group delivers a full suite of commercial banking solutions for auto dealers, including Treasury Services, floorplan, real estate and acquisition financing, liquidity management, and other banking solutions. In this role, you’ll shape the analytics strategy that helps us deepen dealer relationships, improve sales effectiveness, and identify new commercial growth opportunities. You’ll partner with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Sales, Finance, Risk, and Data to deliver scalable capabilities and actionable insights. As the Head of Commercial Solutions Analytics in Chase Auto Commercial Solutions, you will lead the analytics strategy that drives data-driven decision-making across dealer acquisition, relationship deepening, commercial lending opportunities, sales effectiveness, portfolio performance, and strategic growth initiatives. You’ll partner closely with Commercial Solutions executives and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build analytical capabilities, and deliver insights that improve dealer engagement and strengthen our competitive position. You’ll lead a team of data scientists and quantitative analysts, translating complex data into actionable strategies while building scalable analytics that support our modernization agenda.

Job responsibilities 

  • Define and execute the analytics and artificial intelligence strategy for Auto Commercial Solutions, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, and automation to drive growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage
  • Partner with Commercial Solutions leadership to support dealer acquisition, relationship deepening, portfolio optimization, sales effectiveness, and commercial growth initiatives
  • Lead the development of analytical solutions and insights that inform dealer strategy, market opportunity assessment, customer segmentation, profitability, and competitive positioning
  • Drive the adoption of artificial intelligence-enabled capabilities, modern analytics, and data products that improve decision-making and business outcomes
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Data, Risk, and Finance teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions and influence strategic priorities across the business
  • Establish performance measurement, experimentation, and governance frameworks to ensure analytical rigor, responsible artificial intelligence practices, and measurable business impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by translating complex analytical insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing organization of analytics leaders, data scientists, and analysts while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, or computer science
  • 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, quantitative modeling, strategy, or business intelligence, including significant leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing large analytics organizations and delivering measurable business outcomes
  • Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive analytics, and advanced analytical methodologies
  • Experience leveraging generative artificial intelligence and automation to solve complex business problems
  • Ability to influence senior executives and lead cross-functional initiatives across business, product, technology, risk, finance, and operations teams
  • Experience prioritizing and managing a broad portfolio of analytical work across multiple business domains
  • Proficiency in modern analytics technologies including Python, SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable business recommendations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, or computer science
  • Experience in automotive finance, dealer services, commercial banking, floorplan lending, or related financial services businesses
  • Strong understanding of dealer operations, commercial lending products, customer segmentation, profitability analytics, and growth strategy
  • Experience supporting dealer prospecting, competitive intelligence, market opportunity identification, and sales effectiveness initiatives
  • Experience deploying artificial intelligence-enabled analytics solutions that improve customer engagement, relationship management, or business performance
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, customer relationship management analytics, data governance, machine learning operations, model monitoring, and scalable data products
  • Experience leading enterprise analytics transformations, self-service capabilities, and modernization initiatives, including product-centric delivery approaches
