Job Description

Job Summary

The Head of Bancassurance will be responsible for leading and managing the bancassurance business at UOB (Thai) Public Company Limited, driving strategic growth and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. This role involves overseeing all aspects of product development, sales, distribution, and operational excellence within the bancassurance channel.

Job Responsibilities

* Develop and execute the overall bancassurance strategy, aligning with the bank's broader business objectives and market trends.
* Lead the development and launch of innovative and competitive bancassurance products in collaboration with insurance partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Drive sales performance and distribution effectiveness across the branch network and other bank channels, setting aggressive targets and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with insurance partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring effective collaboration for product delivery and service.
* Oversee the training and development of bank staff on bancassurance products and sales techniques to maximize sales potential.
* Manage the bancassurance budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
* Ensure full compliance with all relevant financial regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of bancassurance professionals.
* Analyze sales data and market intelligence to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable strategies.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
* Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the insurance or banking industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within bancassurance.
* Proven track record of successfully developing and executing bancassurance strategies and achieving significant business growth.
* In-depth knowledge of insurance products (life and non-life), regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics in Thailand.
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Results-oriented with a strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
* Proficiency in English and Thai (both written and spoken).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
