What’s the role?

You’ll lead the finance partnership for our Mortgages business, bringing together strategic financial leadership, commercial insight and clear decision support. Working full time from Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country, you’ll partner with senior leaders to shape financial performance, planning, forecasting and major business decisions. You’ll turn complex information into practical insights, help identify opportunities for growth and better customer outcomes, and provide thoughtful challenge across investment, pricing, capital and transformation decisions. You’ll also lead a collaborative finance team and help strengthen financial control, governance and accountability across the Mortgages portfolio. 

What do I need?

• Strong commercial and strategic finance capability, with the judgement to connect financial performance to customer, risk and business outcomes.

• The ability to analyse complex information and turn it into clear commercial messages, recommendations and actionable insights.

• Extensive financial control expertise, supported by a Chartered Accountant or CPA qualification and a strong technical finance background.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and contribute to key decision making forums.

• Leadership capability that supports collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and the development of a commercially focused finance team.
