We're seeking a future team member for the role of Head of Middle East, Africa and Central Asia – BNY Investments (Senior Director – Client Executive) to join the EMEA Distribution team. This role is located in Dubai, UAE.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Lead business development and client coverage activities for BNY Investments across the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on driving revenue growth and deepening strategic client relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and prospects, developing and executing account plans that support asset growth, wallet share expansion and new business acquisition.
• Serve as the senior relationship lead for key institutional clients, acting as a trusted advisor to investment, treasury and executive-level stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including CIOs, CEOs, board members and other C-suite executives across the region.
• Deliver a solutions-led approach by connecting client needs with the full breadth of BNY's investment management and broader enterprise capabilities.
• Originate, develop and advance complex commercial opportunities, leading the sales lifecycle from prospecting and relationship development through to mandate wins and ongoing client management.
• Partner with colleagues across investment management, securities services and other business lines to deliver coordinated client solutions and an exceptional client experience.
• Represent BNY in the market through client meetings, industry conferences, roundtables and other external forums, enhancing the firm's profile across the institutional investment community.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Significant experience in institutional sales, client coverage, relationship management or business development within asset management, investment consulting, banking, custody or broader financial services.
• Proven track record of developing senior-level relationships and winning new business with institutional clients, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations and family offices.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and institutional investment solutions, with the ability to engage credibly with CIOs, CEOs, board members and other senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commercial success in originating opportunities, growing revenue and assets under management, and navigating complex client relationships across a matrixed organisation.
• Deep knowledge of the Middle East and Africa institutional market, with an established network of investor and industry relationships across the region considered highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree and/or professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA or similar are advantageous. Additional regional language skills and cultural fluency would be beneficial.
