We're on a mission to grow Rewire's business by leaps and bounds, and we're looking for a Head of Recruiting & People Development to lead and evolve our talent function across Germany and the Netherlands. 

You'll combine strategic ownership with hands-on execution, working closely with our leaders and hiring managers to attract exceptional talent, strengthen our employer brand, and create an environment where people can thrive and grow.

Where you’ll make a difference

• Own and drive Rewire's recruitment and people strategy across Germany and the Netherlands, balancing long-term initiatives with hands-on execution

• Partner closely with leaders and hiring managers to define hiring priorities, workforce plans, and talent strategies that support sustainable growth

• Lead hiring processes from strategy to successful hire, ensuring outstanding hiring outcomes and candidate experiences

• Drive recruitment excellence through scalable processes, interview frameworks, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement

• Strengthen Rewire's employer brand and talent network through strategic partnerships, events, social media, and community-building initiatives

• Shape the employee experience by continuously improving onboarding, development and knowledge-sharing

What makes you shine

You're someone who combines strong recruiting expertise with a genuine interest in people, Data & AI, and technology. You enjoy building relationships, improving the way things work, and taking ownership of outcomes. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, or related People functions, ideally within consulting, technology, data, AI, software, or other knowledge-intensive environments

• A track record of successfully hiring professional and specialist talent, combined with the ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike

• The confidence to partner with leaders and hiring managers, navigate different perspectives, and translate business needs into effective hiring strategies

• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and make things happen

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit – you enjoy working with colleagues, supporting others, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment

• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken), with Dutch being a plus

Where and how you’ll work

You'll work closely with our Amsterdam-based recruitment team, currently consisting of a Junior Recruiter and a Working Student, while partnering with colleagues, hiring managers, and leaders across Germany and the Netherlands. Although day-to-day collaboration is largely virtual, occasional travel to Amsterdam and Heidelberg is part of the role to support team collaboration, alignment, and relationship building.

While our main office is located in Heidelberg, many of our team members are based across various cities in Germany. This reflects our flexible and distributed team structure, which means that relocation is not required.

At the same time, as we continue to grow our Heidelberg office, being located within reasonable travel distance is an advantage and helps facilitate collaboration.
