The role brings together transformation activity across global markets into a single, integrated delivery roadmap, ensuring programs of work are prioritised, governed and executed with clear outcomes, disciplined delivery practices and measurable business impact. AI and automation will form part of the transformation agenda, and this role will ensure these opportunities are assessed and mobilised as part of a broader global transformation portfolio.
This role will also own and mature the project management capability and practice across Corporate Markets globally, establishing consistent standards, tools, governance, reporting and delivery capability to support high-quality execution across global markets and business lines.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

  • Translate strategic priorities into clear transformation programs, business cases and delivery plans with defined outcomes, benefits, resourcing and accountabilities.
  • Ensure transformation opportunities consider process, technology, data, AI, automation, operating model and capability levers.
Global Portfolio, Roadmap and Delivery Governance

  • Provide executive-level reporting and insight on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, financials, capacity and benefits realisation.
  • Identify and remove organisational impediments to delivery, escalating systemic barriers and facilitating resolution across global markets, technology, operations and business teams.
Project Management Practice and Capability
  • Own and build out the project management capability and practice across Corporate Markets, establishing consistent standards, methods, tools, templates and delivery disciplines.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose governance, delivery frameworks and reporting standards that support consistent execution across global markets and business lines.
  • Build delivery capability through coaching, mentoring, capability uplift, communities of practice and practical playbooks that enable high-quality program and project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery performance, including prioritisation, planning, risk management, dependency management, stakeholder engagement and benefits tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement and Change Leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, supporting alignment on transformation priorities, trade-offs, delivery risks and business impacts.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across business units, regions, technology, operations, risk, legal, finance and people teams to deliver transformation outcomes.
  • Lead change through influence, ensuring transformation initiatives are understood, adopted and embedded across impacted teams and global markets.
  • Communicate transformation direction, roadmap progress and key decisions in a clear, credible and business-focused way for executive and operational audiences.
People Leadership
  • Build, lead and inspire a high-performance global transformation and delivery team, role-modelling MPMS values and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, pace and pragmatic execution.
  • Manage delivery capacity, resource allocation and capability planning to meet transformation demand across the global portfolio.
  • Develop, retain and mobilise key global talent, proactively identifying capability gaps, succession risks and opportunities to strengthen the global transformation bench.
  • Create an environment where globally distributed teams can work seamlessly across boundaries, challenge constructively and deliver at pace while maintaining quality and control.
The above list of key accountabilities is not an exhaustive list and may change from time-to-time based on business needs.
