Job Description

To define, execute, and commercialise the Affluent Clients strategy in-country, driving client growth, market leadership, and sustainable value creation. The role will champion the delivery of seamless client journeys, lead transformation and digital enablement initiatives, and collaborate across segments and stakeholders to embed a compelling affluent value proposition that enhances client engagement, deepens relationships, and delivers superior commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Business Commerce, Finance, Economics or related field
Preferred Certification: Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI)

A postgraduate qualification will be considered an advantage.

Experience Required

  • Extensive experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management, with a proven track record of leading, integrating, and delivering exceptional client acquisition, sales, service, and relationship management strategies for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business growth, increasing market share, expanding assets under management, and delivering sustainable revenue and profitability targets within a competitive financial services environment.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing growth strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong networks to attract and retain affluent and wealth clients.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to interpret market trends, assess risks and opportunities, and make strategic decisions that deliver superior client and business outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in preparing, evaluating, and motivating complex credit applications and transactions, with a sound understanding of credit risk management and governance requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of banking, wealth management, investment, lending, fiduciary, and advisory products and services, with the ability to deliver holistic financial solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of client centricity, collaboration, accountability, and service excellence.
  • Recognised as a transformational leader with a successful track record of leading organisational change, digital adoption, innovation, and business transformation initiatives that enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, regulatory requirements, emerging technologies, and the evolving wealth management landscape, with the ability to translate these insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Experience operating at a senior leadership level within organisations of comparable scale and complexity, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build strategic partnerships, and drive execution across multiple functions and markets.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring the delivery of growth priorities, client value, and long-term business sustainability.
