Head Teller - Iraq / Basra Branch

Job Purpose:
To supervise daily teller and cash operations, ensuring accurate transactions, proper cash control, and high-quality customer service in line with the Bank’s policies and Central Bank of Iraq requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily teller activities and cash transactions.
• Monitor cash balances and ensure compliance with approved limits.
• Review and authorize teller transactions within assigned authority.
• Ensure daily cash reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage cash transfers and cash requirements of the branch.
• Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of cash and related documents.
• Support and guide tellers in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC requirements, Bank policies, and CBI instructions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

• 3–5 years of banking experience, preferably in teller/cash operations.
