Based in Malaysia (VCC) and providing remote support to the Head Office HR team, this role is a shared HR team resource and a meaningful early-career HR opportunity. It supports HR leaders across the CHRO Office and COEs with team/operational support and contributes to HR projects and initiatives that build broad HR exposure.The role holder is expected to apply new ways of working — including AI and digital tools — to work efficiently. This includes applying continuous improvement thinking, identifying practical ways to work more efficiently, and complying with relevant data privacy, confidentiality and governance requirements at all times.
1. Team & Operational Support (~50%)
Provide shared support across the HO HR leaders, recognising differing needs:
- Executive support — calendar management, meeting coordination, and follow-ups.
- Coupa administration — process purchase orders, invoices and expense claims (e.g. T&E) on behalf of the HR leaders supported.
- HR events — coordinate HR events and team offsite / engagement preparation, including logistics, materials and registration, this can be remotely as required.
- Legal Tracker & governance — maintain the HO HR Legal Tracker and manage legal invoices where legal advice is initiated by HRBPs or CoEs.
2. HR Projects & Initiatives (~50%)
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives across the HR function (e.g. L&D, Talent & Leadership, HR Operations, HRIS, Performance & Reward etc.), with opportunities to own defined workstreams or deliverables under guidance.
- Support project planning and delivery — research, benchmarking, data gathering, materials and communications preparation, and follow-up on actions.
- Help maintain and enhance HR content, knowledge materials and internal resources.
- Take on additional project-based assignments, demonstrating curiosity, learning agility and growing HR knowledge over time.
