As an Intern within the Global Transportation team, you'll gain valuable exposure to corporate banking, credit assessment, and relationship management. How You Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You'll work closely with Relationship Managers and business stakeholders to analyse corporate clients, conduct industry research, and support lending and portfolio management activities. Your ability to interpret financial information, communicate insights effectively, and collaborate professionally with stakeholders will help you contribute meaningfully to the team and build a strong foundation in corporate banking.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Corporate Lending Support: assist the team in supporting corporate lending and relationship management activities across the transportation sector and diversified industries
- Financial Analysis: analyse financial statements, business performance, and key financial metrics to support client reviews and credit assessments
- Industry Research: conduct research on industry developments, market trends, and macroeconomic factors that may impact clients and business opportunities
- Business Insights: prepare analyses, summaries, and market updates to support client coverage and strategic decision-making
- Presentation Development: assist in preparing client presentations, business proposals, and management materials
- Report Writing: support the preparation of reports, credit-related materials, and research outputs for internal stakeholders
- Stakeholder Engagement: interact with internal stakeholders to gather information, coordinate deliverables, and support ongoing business initiatives
- Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on departmental projects and assignments as required
Who You Work With
Global Corporate Banking partners large corporates, regional champions, and multinational companies, providing financing, advisory, and banking solutions to support their growth and transformation. Within the Regional Conglomerates & Diversified Industries – Global Transportation team, you'll work alongside experienced bankers who manage relationships with clients across the transportation sector and broader corporate landscape. You'll gain valuable insights into corporate banking, credit evaluation, and client relationship management within an international banking environment.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline
