Responsibilities
- Underwrite and size commercial real estate loans across multiple asset classes by analyzing financial statements, property cash flows, and market data.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including gathering and reviewing documentation from borrowers, brokers, and third parties.
- Prepare and present detailed credit memorandums and financial models for investment committee review.
- Support the structuring, negotiation, and closing of investment transactions in coordination with deal teams, legal, and closing departments.
- Participate in deal pipeline management, early-stage deal screening, and ongoing portfolio monitoring and compliance reporting.
- Interface with borrowers and industry partners to ensure timely and accurate transaction execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, or related quantitative field preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling as well as Power Point.
- Hands-on experience building, running, and interpreting complex financial models and large datasets for investment analysis.
- Proven skills in analytical thinking, risk assessment, and scenario analysis – ideally experience in CRE, fixed income, or credit risk roles.
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments; hungry to learn, excel, and advance on a team of CRE investment experts
The average salary for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data.
