Investment Banking Analyst / Associate - Israel
Group Overview:
The Israel Coverage Team provides strategic advisory and capital markets services to Israeli clients across a broad range of industries. The team works closely with corporate leaders, founders, financial sponsors, and investors on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, and other strategic transactions. Operating from New York, the team serves as a key bridge between the Israeli and U.S. financial markets, advising clients on cross-border opportunities and helping them access global capital and strategic partners. Team members gain exposure to complex, high-profile transactions and work directly with senior bankers and clients in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Jefferies is Israel’s #1 investment bank by completed transactions, advising on 68 Israel-related deals since January 2023 totaling $42B+ across M&A and capital markets. Jefferies was also named Euromoney’s 2026 Israel ECM Bank of the Year.
Position Overview:
The Israel Coverage team is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its New York office. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Investment Banking Analyst in line for promotion or an Associate 1/Associate 2 with strong execution experience. The role will focus on advising Israeli corporate clients and supporting cross-border transactions involving U.S. and international investors, strategic acquirers, and financial sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute M&A, equity, debt, and strategic advisory transactions for Israel-based and cross-border clients.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Prepare client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work directly with senior bankers on client coverage initiatives and business development efforts.
- Support the execution of live transactions from origination through closing.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 5 years of investment banking experience.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution skills.
- Prior experience in M&A, capital markets, or corporate finance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Hebrew is required.
- Must be based in New York or willing to relocate
Salary Range $125,000-$175,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
