MarshDescription:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Marsh Investments International. Based in Dublin, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join one of Marsh's largest and fastest-growing business areas — delegated investment solutions.
Marsh is one of the leading and most rapidly growing investment solutions businesses globally, with a continually expanding client base and strong momentum for continued growth.
The Operations team is responsible for the onboarding of new clients, launching new funds, client and fund rebalancing, oversight of underlying investment manager changes, NAV and valuation oversight, fund expenses, regulatory and tax oversight, management of third-party service providers, operational infrastructure changes, and the development and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, all within a strong risk and control environment.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days per week in the Dublin office.
Role purpose:
The Client Operations Associate will report to the Deputy Head of Operations and support the Investment Solutions Public Operations team across a broad range of activities.
This role will focus on supporting a portfolio of assigned clients and contributing to the effective delivery of day-to-day operational service across the team. The Associate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to coordinate deliverables, track actions, and support the timely resolution of operational matters.
A key aspect of the role is helping to deliver a responsive, accurate, and professional client experience. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently on assigned tasks, take ownership of defined responsibilities, and collaborate effectively on more complex matters.
In addition, the role will support broader operational priorities as required, including requests from the COO, Head of Operations, or Deputy Head of Operations, as well as change activity, project work, and business-critical initiatives.
We will rely on you to:
- Support assigned client relationships by coordinating day-to-day operational activity and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Provide responsive support to operational requests, queries, and issues, ensuring communication is timely, accurate, and professional.
- Help track actions, dependencies, and timelines across client and operational workstreams, escalating where appropriate.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of service logs, governance materials, KPI reporting, and other operational documentation.
- Assist with monthly service reviews and governance forums by gathering updates, tracking actions, and following through on outcomes.
- Work with internal teams and third parties to coordinate operational activity and help ensure smooth delivery.
- Support onboarding, transition, and change activity, helping to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor recurring issues, service trends, and operational risks, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes, controls, and client service.
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables, working independently where appropriate while seeking guidance on more complex matters.
- Provide flexible support across the operations function as required, including project work and ad hoc priorities.
- Represent the team professionally in internal discussions and contribute to effective stakeholder management.
What you need to have:
- Experience in an operations, client servicing, service management, relationship management, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of fund operations, including fund accounting, middle office, and transfer agency.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently on assigned tasks, and bring structure to operational issues.
- Good stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across internal teams and external counterparties.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and a commitment to high standards of service.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting client relationships, governance activity, onboarding, or change delivery is desirable.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with a broad and varied remit.
What makes you stand out:
- Experience in institutional investment services, asset servicing, or a similar client-facing operational environment.
- Track record of supporting client service, operational controls, or governance improvements.
- Experience working on onboarding, transition, or change activity.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow through on actions and deliverables.
- Good commercial awareness and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support broader team and business needs as required.
Why join our team:
- The opportunity to work on a high-value and growing client portfolio.
- A role with visibility across clients, operations, change, and senior stakeholders.
- The chance to contribute to strengthening service culture and client experience.
- A collaborative environment with strong partnership across the business.
