Job Summary

As a Branch Operations Support Associate within J.P. Morgan Advisors, you assist Financial Advisor teams by promoting efficient branch operations, ensuring seamless client onboarding, and resolving client issues promptly and accurately. Reporting to the Branch Operations Director, you execute critical operational processes and collaborate with Corporate and Investment Bank operations teams to deliver timely updates and communications to advisor teams. You contribute to key projects, take ownership of assigned deliverables, and work independently while keeping your manager informed of progress and outcomes. If you are enthusiastic, self-directed, and motivated to develop and implement effective solutions, you will be a strong addition to our team.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Guide Financial Advisor and new client onboarding processes, 
  • Lead resolution of escalated operational issues, 
  • Communicate with advisor teams regarding potential operations issues, 
  • Execute and take ownership of assigned projects
  • Maintain regular updates to manager on progress and challenges
  • Collaborate with CIB operation teams for process improvements
  • Support operational efficiency initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
  • Utilize strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of operational workflows

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A minimum  of 3  years of operations experience
  • Experience working with product groups
  • Understanding of brokerage business
  • Experience interfacing with operational teams, client associates, and Financial Advisors
  • Experience with brokerage operations or systems
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines, control-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player mindset, strong Excel skills
  • Undergraduate degree

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Series 7 license
  • Ambitious and energetic approach to problem-solving
  • Personally motivated to deliver results
  • Ability to lead process improvement initiatives
  • Experience in project management
  • Enthusiastic about learning new systems and processes
  • Strong analytical acumen
