Junior AI Developer [12 Months Contract]new

Job Description

We are looking for an AI Product Engineer who can bridge product thinking, software engineering, and applied AI development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building practical AI-powered products from concept to launch, translating user needs into scalable features, and working across frontend, backend, APIs, automation, and AI model integration.

The AI Product Engineer will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to prototype, build, test, and improve AI-enabled applications. You will be involved in developing intelligent user experiences, integrating AI capabilities into product workflows, validating system reliability, and continuously improving product performance based on user feedback and business requirements.

 

What you'll need to bring to the Team

 

• Strong foundation in software engineering, product development, and applied AI.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots assistants, or intelligent workflow tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, .Net or similar.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LLMs, APIs, or AI agent frameworks.
• Ability to integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and validate end-to-end product behavior.
• Understanding of automation testing tools such as Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of cloud, DevOps, and development tools such as AWS, Git, Docker, or equivalent.

 

 

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Design, build, and improve AI-powered product features, including chatbots, intelligent assistants, workflow automation, and AI-enhanced user experiences.
• Translate product requirements into reusable, scalable, and user-friendly software components.
• Integrate AI models, APIs, and backend services into product workflows.
• Conduct backend API testing to ensure reliable end-to-end system behavior.
• Build and maintain automated tests for key product workflows to improve quality and reduce manual testing effort.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and technical solutions.
• Prototype new AI product concepts and validate feasibility through rapid experimentation.
• Improve product reliability, usability, and performance through testing, debugging, and iteration.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and product opportunities.
• Document technical decisions, workflows, and implementation details clearly.
• Support product launches, demonstrations, and continuous improvement cycles.

Qualifications

• You possess a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• You are passionate about building real-world AI products that solve meaningful problems.
• You enjoy working across the full product lifecycle, from idea validation to implementation and testing.
• You think like both an engineer and a product builder, balancing technical quality with user value.
• You are curious about AI agents, automation, LLMs, intelligent systems, and emerging product experiences.
