Overview

ISS STOXX is growing! This Junior Data Analyst role is a great fit for recent graduates who are eager to take on challenges and grow quickly. This will be under Market Intelligence Discovery Data Team.

As a Junior Data Analyst, you'll gain hands-on experience working with large datasets and analyzing financial data to support business decisions. Your work will help ensure data accuracy and smooth operations across our platforms. 

  

You’ll also benefit from access to valuable market insights through news, training, events, and industry recognition—giving you a strong foundation for a career in financial data analysis. 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on individuals and firms within the financial services industry. 

  • Verify, acquire, and update information in our database using proprietary webtools. 

  • Collect data from reliable online sources, following established collection process guidelines. 

  • Ensure completeness, timeliness, accuracy, and quality of data. 

  • Learn and adapt to new processes as part of our commitment to continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree graduate in Finance, Business, Economics, or any closely related field (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply). 

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with a particular focus on Excel skills. 

  • Computer savvy and possess the ability to learn new technology concepts. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; can thrive in a cross-border / multi-cultural work environment. 

  • Ability to adapt to performing various and changing tasks throughout the workday. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and a rigorous set of performance metrics. 

  • Experience using Excel to manipulate and prepare financial data a plus

Work Location & Schedule:

  • Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent late day shift schedule (12 noon – 9 pm Manila Time)

  • Amenable to go on 5 days a week onsite during the training period prior to transitioning to hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite per week)
