Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement, investment, and benefits consulting to help organizations design, manage, fund, govern, and communicate retirement and employee benefit programs. We work with multinational corporations and leading Korean organizations to address complex retirement challenges and deliver sustainable solutions that align with their workforce and business objectives.
As an Actuarial Intern – Retirement Consulting, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced consultants and actuaries on real client assignments. Your main responsibility would be to support on Year-end actuarial valuations while you will be exposed to a variety of retirement consulting projects that will strengthen your analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills while building a solid foundation in actuarial consulting and employee benefits.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical knowledge of retirement programs in Korea while gaining exposure to client service, actuarial valuation work, and actuarial & retirement benefits consulting projects.

- Develop foundational technical knowledge and actuarial skills in retirement and employee benefits consulting.

- Assist in actuarial valuation projects by performing data validation, analysis, modelling, and report preparation under supervision.
- Support consultants and actuaries on client projects involving the design, funding, accounting, implementation, and management of retirement and benefit programs.
- Participate in projects that help clients assess and manage retirement benefit-related risks.
- Conduct research and prepare presentation materials, reports, and other client deliverables.
- Assist with data analysis and preparation of insights to support client recommendations and decision-making.
- Support administration and operational activities.
- Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
- Support project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Assist the team in achieving operational and project objectives.
[Financial]
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Statistics, Mathematics and Actuarial Science.
Proficiency with English and Korean
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment dealing with multiple projects and clients
Strong communication skills
Preferred who is in the process of SOA exam or Korea Actuary exam
