As an Associate in the Latin America Investment Banking group, you will be a key player in the firm's regional business strategy and execution. Based in the Mexico City office, you will join a high-performing team that provides a full suite of integrated financial services to clients across the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of a wide variety of complex transactions including, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM) offerings, and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) financings
- Oversee lead and review sophisticated financial models including DCF, LBO, Comparable Company analyses, and Accretion / Dilution metrics, among others
- Drive the preparation of high-quality pitch books, information memorandums, and client presentation materials
- Actively manage and mentor junior team members, ensuring accuracy in deliverables and supporting their professional development
- Manage extensive market research and company due diligence processes for potential and live transactions alongside external advisors
- Partner with product groups and regional /global teams to deliver integrated tailored solutions to Latin American clients
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Professional experience: Prior Investment Banking experience is mandatory (3+ years as an Analyst and/or 1+ years as a current Associate)
- Language skills: Complete proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and oral)
- Technical rigor: Expert-level financial accounting knowledge and mastery of valuation techniques including fundamental analysis
- Software proficiency: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with financial databases such as FactSet, CapIQ and Bloomberg
- Regional knowledge: Demonstrated interest in and understanding of the economic and corporate dynamics specific to Latin American countries
